Knowledge sharing in our community is an important part of our mission at Beyond Darklands. This enables people to meet others, learn and supplement their knowledge.
Sharing knowledge and connecting with likeminded people is at the heart of Beyond Darklands. Our Masterclasses are led by professionals and experienced members of the community, each carefully designed to give participants awareness, insights, and practical skills to carry forward.
At Beyond Darklands 2026, the program features 65 Masterclasses that span a wide range of subjects. From consent, mental health, and queer identity to bondage, fisting, kink history, fetish business, and even niche practices, there is something for every level of curiosity and experience.
Sessions typically last one hour, with some exceptions, and are presented in English. Tickets are limited and sold on a first come, first served basis. Each class has a standard €12 production cost to cover fixed expenses, with some presenters adding a small fee to cover their own costs.
Following the success of 2025, we plan to offer online Masterclasses again in early 2026, along with our popular Beyond Darklands for Beginners sessions. These are perfect for those attending for the first time who want to get to know the festival and meet others before arriving.
A dedicated team of education and presentation specialists supports our growing Masterclass program, which has expanded from 16 sessions in 2022 to 54 in 2025 and now 65 in 2026. Beyond Darklands has become a hub for knowledge sharing, skills development, and community building.
Kink-responsibly project
As part of our Kink Responsibly project, a selection of online Masterclasses will be available. These classes are focusing on wellbeing, community, and mental health. Tickets for these online Masterclasses cost €5. Darklands will fully cover the presenter’s fee (if they charge one to cover their costs).
Beyond Darklands offers online Masterclasses on sexual health, sex-related drug use, and mental wellbeing free of charge. Spots must be reserved in advance, and presenters’ fees are fully covered by Beyond Darklands. A ticket for these classes costs €5 to prevent no-shows.
After personalizing your ticket, you can download it. On the ticket, you’ll find a registration link for the online Masterclass.
Click the link and register using the exact same first and last name as shown on your ticket. Once your registration is complete, you’ll receive a personal Zoom link with an access code. Use this link to join the Masterclass.
