Fetishes, Charms & Hidden Magic
Beyond Classic, the cultural highlight of Beyond Darklands, returns with an extraordinary new setting: the magnificent Rubens Hall at the Royal Museum of Fine Arts Antwerp (KMSKA).
Bringing together music, dance and visual arts in an exclusive benefit performance, Beyond Classic has welcomed internationally renowned artists such as Iris Vermillion, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Gregory Frateur, Dietrich Henschel and Susanne Elmark.
Moving to Friday for the first time, the concert gives more people the opportunity to experience this unique evening, surrounded by stunning Baroque masterpieces.
This edition explores The Ancient Mythology of Fetish, bringing the stories depicted in the museum’s paintings to life through music. A captivating encounter between classical music, mythology and art.
Want to make the experience even more special? Join an optional guided museum tour before the concert and discover how the old masters played with desire, masks, power and seduction: a journey through the hidden fetish stories behind the masterpieces that inspire the evening.
Created entirely by volunteers and supported by its artists and partners, Beyond Classic brings culture and community together for a cause that matters. This edition’s proceeds support Forbidden Colours, a Brussels-based nonprofit defending LGBTIQ+ rights across Europe.
Seats are limited and ticket sales open Wednesday, November 4! Don’t miss your chance to be part of this extraordinary evening.
